HOW YOU CAN HELP

Helping a Charity does not always mean you have to give money or volunteer a large amount of time. Although we will never refuse either of these things, you can help us in numerous other ways.

Are you keen on books? We are still looking for someone to take over the sorting, storing and selling, at our fayres, the books that are given to help our funds. If you think you may be able to help us please contact Please contact Shirley Martin 01245 473035

ITEMS NEEDED

We are always grateful to receive old newspapers (not with staples in) especially the larger newspapers i.e. the telegraph, financial times etc. Its not just that our cats are discerning readers but the larger papers are harder for those darling kittens to shred. Old clean towels  are also gratefully received as they are needed for drying litter trays and many other uses. Donations of cat food help to reduce the costs of running the Adoption Centre, so why not think about buying an extra tin or 2 when you are next shopping. We raise money for the Adoption Centre by holding regular  fayres and we always need new clothes, new pieces of carpet, knitting wool, new items for our fayres such as jewellery, , toiletries, unwanted gifts, toys, etc. good quality bric-a-brac, good quality books, videos, CD's and tapes, new stationery, good quality jigsaw puzzles, small items of furniture (Please note that up holstered items should conform to EEC furniture and furnishings (fire) (safety) regulations). We are unable to accept gas and electrical appliances, used carpet of any kind, second-hand clothes or large items of furniture. Items can be left at the Adoption Centre, please contact the us on 01245 478389 for details.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Are you a gardener? Could you spare some time, however little, to help us keep the grounds tidy. If so please ring the Adoption Centre on 01245 478389.

Have you a few spare hours in the morning? Why not become a helper at the Adoption Centre. The people are friendly, the cats are grateful (or it might be the other way round) and as long as you bring a sense of humour and your rubber gloves, you will have a rewarding time.
