Cats Protection is the oldest registered National Charity devoted exclusively to feline welfare. Its main objects are to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home unwanted and stray cats, to neuter cats which are not part of planned breeding programs and to provide information to cat owners. Chelmsford Cats Protection helps hundreds of needy cats each year at an annual cost of over £55,000. No cat is put to sleep except on genuine medical grounds.

You can help us in our work by becoming a member of the Chelmsford Cats Protection. You will receive 2 newsletters a year giving you details and stories relating to the shelter and the cats in our care.
